For Calgary soccer & sports clubs

Parents see the registration page. Your registrar is the iceberg.

Registrations, fees, rosters, waivers and the weekly schedule all land on one volunteer, usually the week before the season. I build your club's site and the system beneath it: families register and pay online, rosters build themselves, and the schedule reaches every parent. You own all of it.

Calgary Mandarin School website
Calgary Mandarin School: family registration, fees, staff portal and parent messages. The same system a club runs on.

Most clubs don't need another app. They need fewer screenshots.

It's a week before the season. Forty e-transfers, three with no name on them. A coach wants his roster. A parent asks what time Saturday's game is, for the fourth time. Each one lands on a person. Here's what moves underneath instead.

01 Registration & fees

Families register and pay in one go.

One form per season, fees paid by card at sign-up, installments for families who need them, and a receipt sent on its own. A live screen shows who's paid and who's still owing.

Off your plate
  • Matching e-transfer screenshots to players
  • A payment spreadsheet with three versions
02 Rosters & waivers

Rosters build themselves by age group.

Each registration lands in the right division and team. Waivers and medical notes are signed online before the first practice, and coaches see only their own players.

Off your plate
  • Paper waivers on a clipboard at the field
  • Rebuilding team lists by hand every season
03 Schedule & parents

Post the change once. Every family hears.

Games, practices and cancellations go to the affected teams by email and text, and update the calendar parents already have on their phones.

Off your plate
  • The group-chat scramble on a rained-out Saturday
  • "What time is practice?"
04 Coaches, volunteers & site

New season, new coach? Text me. It's live that day.

Coach contacts, volunteer slots, sponsor logos and season dates stay current without anyone learning a website builder.

Off your plate
  • Last year's dates still on the home page
  • Chasing parents for snack and line duty
Not a club. The same problem.

The tip, and what's under it.

A Saturday school runs like a club: families sign up for a term, pay fees, and need to hear when plans change. Swap students for players and teachers for coaches.

Questions

Is this just a website?

No. The website is the front door. Underneath is an admin that runs registration, fees, rosters and parent messages, so your volunteers stop juggling six apps.

We already have a website. Can you work with that?

Usually I rebuild the public site so it connects cleanly to the admin. If yours is solid, I build the back office and wire it in. We decide that on the call.

We're tied to a league or association system. Is that a problem?

No. If you already use Stripe or report to a league or provincial body, I connect to it. The goal is one place for your club, not another silo.

Our spreadsheet works fine. Why change?

It works because your registrar holds it together. A spreadsheet can't take a payment, send a reminder or stop a double-booked field. The real question is what happens the season they step down.

How is this different from Wix or Squarespace?

Those give you a public page. They don't run registration, rosters or fees. I build the back office that a template can't.

Do we own it, or are we locked in?

You own the site, the family records and your payment account. Support from $100 a month is for hosting and changes, not a hostage fee. You keep everything if you stop.

Come up for air

You volunteered to run a club, not a payment spreadsheet.

Give me 30 minutes. We'll find what's holding your registrar under, and you'll leave with a plan and a price, whether you hire me or not.
